Family Summer Craft Night in June: Families with kids ages 5 and up who have signed up to receive a bundle of supplies to complete four craft projects in June can choose the night that works best for them and spend the evening indoors working on a different project each week. Tween Scene Online – Unicorn Squishy: All day long via Pflugerville Public Library Pickup Kits. Tweens ages 8 to 12 can sign up for a weekly craft and activity kit. For information: pflugervilletx.gov.

Sweet treats workshop for tweens: all day long via collection kits at the Pflugerville public library. In this special workshop, tweens aged 8 to 12 learn to decorate sugar cookies with royal icing. With Cafe 1 kits by Chef Juan, participants will follow video instructions using the supplies provided. The instructional video will be posted on the library’s YouTube channel on June 30. Virtual Laser Cutting Crafts – Paper Stencil Toothbrush Painting: 6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. online from Pflugerville Public Library. This virtual version of Laser Cutting Crafts will provide materials and a video tutorial for a craft prepared by the laser cutter in the library. To register: pflugervilletx.gov.

Spice of the month – Lemon Pepper: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. via Webex at the Pflugerville Public Library. Participants will receive a sealed sachet of lemon and pepper seasoning, along with a list of suggested recipes. People can use one of the recipes provided, find one online, or use one of the library’s many cookbooks. July 4 fireworks: 9:30 p.m. Fireworks will be launched from the field beside Typhoon Texas at the intersection of Texas 130 and Pflugerville Parkway. The central location will allow you to see across the city. The event is part of the Waterpark Red, White & Boom Festival. The water park will host additional festivities throughout the weekend from July 2-4.
